Skill level: beginner and beyond
This 2 day course will challenge you to produce a dye for your wool from the plants and flowers right outside your door. You’ll learn the entire process from preparing the wool for dyeing, foraging for botanicals, and making and using the dye bath from these materials. You’ll be amazed at the end results and will go home with at least 2 naturally dyed skeins of wool. Spaces will be limited so please reserve yours early. Sandra will hold the workshop at Irish Fibre Crafters, Ardrahan, County Galway. All materials will be provided for you, but bring a packed lunch.

Public transport: the 51 bus (Cork/Galway) stops right in front of the Irish Fibre Crafters studio just about every hour, daily. Ardrahan train station (with occasional times) is a 5 minute drive from the studio, but it is a road with no good verge, so please let us bring you from/to the station rather than attempt the walk.
Driving? Irish Fibre Crafters is just 5 minutes off of the Ardrahan exit
